So through out this lesson I learned a proper definition of what the internet is and how it is used. The internet has forever changed our way of life and possibly for the best. The internet and grown into the world wide web and has continued to change and grow. The fact that so much new technology is to be coming out in 2011 such as the digital billboards, and the longer lasting batteries which would play a huge role in a good direction to our future. The fact that Asia has the most web users was kind of surprising to me, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Being my first blog entry I know I have more work to do, I believe the more I work into it the better I will get. I need to get used to checking ANGEL for homework that is due, I'm not used to having a class that is all internet based and I have a feeling I have missed assignments because of this.
Modem- a device that converts analog data to digital, and digital to analog data.
Server- computer that handles requests for data, email, file transfer, and other network services from other computers.
Bandwidth- amount of data that can travel through a communication circuit in one second.
